Financials

Proper stewardship of financial resources remained a key part of Indivisible Project and Indivisible Civics’ success in 2023. Our priority continues to be investing in important programmatic initiatives while maintaining sufficient resources to support the long-term health of our organizations and movement.

Overview

Indivisible Project and Indivisible Civics ended 2023 in healthy financial positions thanks to consistent grassroots support, strong backing from institutional donors, and careful stewardship of resources. In 2024, we’re prepared to leverage our resources to build and sustain the health of the Indivisible movement to fight for a better future and a more inclusive democracy for the long haul.

Fundraising

In 2023, Indivisible Civics’ total fundraising was $4.9 million, and Indivisible Project’s total fundraising was approximately $6.5 million. Our fundraising efforts are guided by an underlying philosophy: we are driven by small-dollar donations, meaning that no single contribution will be larger than our total grassroots donations; we don’t accept money from corporations or political parties; and we will decline gifts that restrict our independence or ability to pursue our strategic vision.
